Hotel West End Promenade - Nice

Packed with surprises, Good and Bad

The hotel has an really good location right on the promenade, offering fine views. The cute gesture of champagne and cookies was a good touch.

Unfortunately, noise disturbances from traffic and internal factors disrupted our comfort, while some amenities were in disrepair and cleanliness left much to be desired.

The west end promenade is in an amazing spot right across from the promenade des anglais. The breakfast was excellent with many tasty choices, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Plus, it's only a short walk to the train station, great for day trips!

Solo traveler seeking solitude

The staff were perfect, always checking in, like when they brought me extra towels without me asking. And the breakfast spread? It was lavish! I mean, they really knew how to start the day right with all those pastries and fresh fruit.

Had an lovely corner room on the top floor with a fantastic view and the soothing sound of the ocean! The location is prime, right by the water. Plus, the restaurant's Chateaubriand is awesome!

Cozy room, fantastic view, the cute staff was always ready to help us find local dining options and attractions , while being located just 1.5 km from the city's main train station made traveling easy.

Could be better

We stayed for 4 nights in a Privilege Double Room. The location was nice, and we loved the breakfast options like in-room dining. But, the staff was hit or miss. One guy at reception was kinda rude when I asked for body lotion. Our room needed a serious update. Not the best experience.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right on the Promenade des Anglais with direct beach access. The staff greeted us warmly and quickly accommodated our needs. Our room offered a lovely view of the sea, a pleasant surprise. The room itself was lacking in cleanliness. We found hairs in the bathroom and the overall condition seemed dated and in need of thorough cleaning. The breakfast offered a good variety, although some items lacked freshness and the pastries were on the dry side. Unfortunately, , we heard constant noise from the rooms above us, which disrupted our sleep. The Wi-Fi connection was spotty. While the staff was generally helpful, some responses felt dismissive when we raised concerns. The experience had its highlights, but the cleanliness and noise issues detracted from our visit.

I appreciated the prime location across from the beach and the delicious breakfast. While my room could have benefited from a little more modern decor, the fine views made up for it. A lovely retreat overall!

The ocean view room exceeded my expectations, offering fine vistas of the mediterranean. The friendly staff and breakfast selection made this luxurious getaway nice.
